Not Just an Iced Cappuccino

Is it just me? or Its the coffee shop?

Not Just an Iced Cappuccino

Cappuccino is one of my favorite coffee drinks. I rarely trade it for anything else, but when I do, a latte is my only acceptable substitute.

As for espresso, please keep it far away from me. I wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole. I’ve tried it twice, and both times I had no choice but to throw it away. There’s something about the taste that feels strange and unpleasant to me. Ironically, I do enjoy black coffee, but espresso? It should not be mentioned anywhere near me.

Why the Title

Coffee makes me genuinely ecstatic. For a few minutes after drinking it, I get this euphoric rush that sharpens my mind and lifts my energy. During that window, I can dive into coding, reading, or anything that demands serious mental focus.

About three days ago, I was at a coffee shop and ordered my favorite drink, a cappuccino. As expected, it was served hot. But out of curiosity, I decided to experiment and asked them to add ice to it. That turned out to be a terrible idea. It was easily one of the worst coffee experiences I’ve had, and I’m not sure I’ll ever try that again.

Which brings me to the question:
Was the problem me, or the barista?
